What exactly is CPEP? The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web-based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year-long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and anaylsis conducted via guidlines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering. WELCOME
Welcome to the site of Jacob Graham's Senior Thesis Project. The Project in question is 1919 Market Street. This is a 29 story mixed use building located in Philadelphia, After 25 years, multiple project developments have fallen through, but now the project site is finally being utilized with this retail/residential tower and parking garage. Currently, the project is underway and scheduled to be completed in the Spring of 2016 for residents to move in.
Throughout Fall Semester 2015, I will analyze the building's current structural design. I will also develop a proposal for the redesign of the building. This proposal will be used in the Spring Semester 2016 to guide me through the building redesign process. Please feel free to check back throughout the year for site updates.
